Aico pressure sprayer 8ltrs

An Aico 8-liter pressure sprayer is a popular size for manual, handheld spraying tasks that are a bit larger than what a 5-liter sprayer can handle, but still don’t warrant a full-sized 16L or 20L knapsack sprayer. It strikes a good balance between capacity and portability.

Key Features of an Aico 8-Liter Pressure Sprayer:

• Capacity: 8 liters (8ltrs). This allows for covering a larger area or longer spraying sessions compared to 5-liter models, without being too heavy or cumbersome to carry by hand or with a shoulder strap.
• Manual Pressure Operation: Like other manual pressure sprayers, you build up pressure by pumping a plunger handle on top of the tank. This compresses air inside, which then propels the liquid out when the spray trigger is activated.
• Adjustable Nozzle: Typically comes with a multi-purpose nozzle that allows you to switch between different spray patterns, such as a fine mist (ideal for pesticides on delicate plants), a cone spray (for broader coverage), and a direct jet stream (for targeted application or cleaning).
• Shoulder Strap: Most 8-liter models include a shoulder strap to make carrying easier, especially when the tank is full.
• Translucent Tank with Graduations: The tank is usually made of translucent, chemical-resistant plastic, often with clear measurement markings (liters, gallons) on the side, allowing you to easily see the liquid level and mix solutions accurately.
• Safety Pressure Release Valve: A crucial safety feature that automatically or manually releases excess pressure from the tank, preventing over-pressurization and ensuring safe operation.
• Ergonomic Design: Features a comfortable pump handle and an easy-to-operate spray trigger, sometimes with a lock-on facility for continuous spraying.
• Durable Construction: Made from robust, chemical-resistant materials (typically HDPE plastic) that can withstand various agricultural chemicals, cleaning solutions, and general wear and tear.

Common Applications:

• Medium-sized Gardens: Ideal for spraying vegetables, flowers, or small lawns with herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers.
• Pest Control: Applying insecticides indoors or outdoors around the perimeter of a house, in specific areas, or for treating pests in sheds/outhouses.
• Weed Control: Targeted application of weed killers on driveways, patios, or between paving stones.
• Cleaning and Disinfection: Spraying cleaning agents, disinfectants, or even water for rinsing.
